about us
Our Story
The ArchitectureKids® story goes back twenty years to the origins of our parent company, Studio Productions, a design and fabrication company
that has created dream environments for companies such as Mattel, Fisher-Price, Build-A-Bear Workshop, and Toyota. In 2006, Dean Dwyer,
the Co-Founder and President of Studio Productions, launched ArchitectureKids, a retail company that creates "The Most Amazing KidHouses in the World."
With Dean's passion for beautiful design and his love for children, the creation of ArchitectureKids was a natural extension of his highly successful work.
Today, a team of architects, designers, craftspeople, writers, and illustrators works day and night to create the most amazing play experiences in the world.
Our KidHouses have found homes in malls, retail stores, museums, car dealerships, and hospitals, and inside imagination-loving houses and backyards like yours.
Our Mission
To create the most amazing KidHouses and provide the most amazing customer care in the world.
Our Vision
Everything we create—from KidHouses to storybooks to a Kids' Campus—we create so that children will learn, grow, and exercise their imaginations.
At ArchitectureKids®, our vision is to nurture the artist in every child and ultimately, to inspire them.
Our Good Works
Dean Dwyer has always believed in making the world a better place. To that end, he has dedicated himself to creating the most amazing
KidHouses in the world, beautiful play environments that will inspire, nurture, and educate children to dream big and be the best that they can be.
And also to that end, Dean and the entire team at ArchitectureKids are committed to helping children and their families in need.
That's why we've donated KidHouses to:
- The Fresh Start Women's Foundation, the organization that "helps women help themselves."
- PANDA (People Acting Now Discover Answers), the Phoenix Women's Board group that supports discovery
processes that leads to improved treatments and cures for devastating childhood illnesses.
- St. Peter's Indian Mission School, on an Akimel O'Odham (Pima) Indian reservation, the beloved charity of
baseball legend and Hall of Fame broadcaster Joe Garagiola, Sr.
- Children Affected by Aids Foundation, the only foundation to support both national and international
programs providing care, basic needs and recreation to children infected by aids.
